Saxophonist Pete Wareham is well known for his group Acoustic Ladyland and Seb Rochford's Polar Bear. He is a member of the London based jazz collective F-IRE. Pete graduated from Leeds College of Music in 1997 and later continued to pursue post graduate studies at the Guildhall School of Music. He played tenor and baritone saxophone in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra during 1997-1999. In 2001 he formed Acoustic Ladyland, they went on to win the BBC Jazz Award Best Band in 2005. Tonight's line-up with two drummers in a four piece will be a new experience for many although not for Tom Skinner who doubles with Seb Rochford in Shabaka Hutchings’s quartet ‘Sons of Kemet’.
